WE ARE HERE

Training at the Greek-French School Ursulines is a strategic institution for the ongoing scientific and professional development of teachers and administrative staff.

As a living and evolving educational community, our School constantly adapts to meet new and ever-changing challenges, addressing the educational and pedagogical needs of both our students and the parents who place their trust in us.

The quality of the educational process at our School is inseparable from the role of the teacher — the key figure who shapes the school environment and contributes to advancing educational innovation and pedagogical effectiveness.

With the aim of enhancing the quality of our educational and pedagogical work, we invest in the regular training of our teachers through conferences, seminars, lectures, and working groups, helping them to develop their skills to:

Create dynamic learning environments.

Use new technologies in their teaching and daily professional practice.

Organise and coordinate students’ group work.

Plan their school curriculum and lessons in line with the official curricula, taking into account the specific needs of their students, with a strong emphasis on literacy and numeracy.

Connect their subject content to the development of a wide range of student skills.

Work constructively with parents and other members of the wider community.

Recognise and make use of the cultural diversity of the student population.

Respond to the demands of lifelong learning.

Support students with special educational needs and provide them with appropriate learning incentives.

At the same time, all staff — regardless of their role — receive training in team dynamics to strengthen the school’s sense of community. We share, communicate, and build relationships of trust and cooperation, fostering solidarity, mutual respect, volunteerism, and active citizenship.

Training is one of the key ingredients of our success — the “tomorrow” in the classroom of the future!
