Daycare Centre
The educational programme is designed to support the all-round development of each child, taking into account their interests, needs and individual characteristics.
Specifically, the key areas of the programme aim to promote:
Social and emotional development: At this age, children need to express their feelings — both positive and negative — and to feel accepted by others, safe, loved and cared for. They are encouraged to get to know themselves, to develop control over their body and behaviour, to become independent, to express their opinions and to take initiative. The educator responds to each child’s emotional needs with warmth and affection, showing understanding and fostering an atmosphere of acceptance, happiness and freedom.
Cognitive development: Children learn through play — a process through which they express themselves, create and socialise. The educational activities are designed to be interdisciplinary, drawing on a variety of subject areas:
Language / Communication
Mathematical concepts
Physical Education
Health education
Theatre, music and visual expression
Familiarisation with the French language holds a special place in our programme, helping children develop a love for it and preparing them to grasp its grammatical structures and vocabulary with ease later on. Learning takes place through enjoyable, play-based activities supported by rich teaching materials, as language acquisition at this age is closely linked to sensory and motor experiences.
English is introduced through songs, games and theatrical activities, always in a playful spirit and with engaging educational resources. We believe that early exposure to both French and English is crucial in shaping children’s future attitudes towards language learning.
Music and Movement Education offers an experiential and creative musical process through music and movement games, musical instruments, theatre, songs and performances. These activities nurture children’s imagination and creativity while ensuring they have fun.
The Swimming Programme (optional), led by specialised instructors, helps children become comfortable in the water and learn basic swimming techniques.
The Physical Education Programme, guided by experienced and qualified coaches, supports both physical and social development and fosters a spirit of teamwork.

The role of the School Psychologist in Kindergarten
The school psychologist helps in the social maturation and personality development of children, in collaboration with parents and teachers. The school psychologist provides advice on psycho-emotional development, behaviour and learning difficulties.
School–Family Partnership
Collaboration with the family is regarded as essential for each child’s smooth integration into the classroom community. Regular one-on-one and group meetings with parents are organised, and daily communication is available whenever needed.
