School - family
partnership

School-family cooperation is the cornerstone for the smooth psychosocial development of children and their adaptation to the social context of the school community.

Our school offers numerous opportunities that actively promote this collaboration. Scheduled communication meetings take place during the school year, while parents are given the opportunity to communicate weekly with teachers and the administration either in person or by telephone.

Our aim is to establish a relationship of trust between the school and parents, with the common goal of supporting and developing the children.

Teachers-Parents Training
It is very important for the school to offer learning opportunities to all members of its system. At the Greek-French School Ursulines this is our intention.

In this context, the school regularly organises training sessions for both teachers and parents, aiming to provide better support for students. Teacher training is a priority, ensuring that educators remain engaged in the dynamic pedagogical process, keep up with new developments, and adopt innovative teaching models to maintain high educational standards.

Pioneering Parent Training Programme – “Parents in Action”
During the school year, the Primary School of the Greek-French School Ursulines organises afternoon training sessions for parents, focusing on topics such as:

  • parenting,
  • supporting the parental role,
  • and education in key thematic areas.

The programmes are developed by specialised scientists (psychologists, doctors, social workers) and provide parents with knowledge, exchange of experiences and opportunities for reflection.

    School psychologist
The school psychologist plays an active role within our school community. Her role covers:
  • students,
  • parents,
  • teachers.

She provides counselling, support and guidance. She organises and delivers mental resilience programmes for students, teachers, and parents.

She identifies and provides solutions to obstacles that may arise during the smooth progress of the learning process. She helps to foster a positive and balanced classroom environment. The psychologist identifies learning, emotional, behavioural, and social difficulties that may hinder academic progress and proposes appropriate solutions.
